Lumens equals brightness!

The Lumens is a measure of the total "amount" of visible light emitted from a source. The Kelvin rating is the colour of the light emitted. The higher Kelvin rating resembles a natural white light and the lower ratings are warmer and more yellow in tone. Incandescent bulbs use more wattage than LED light strips. A traditional 60 Watt incandescent bulb is comparable to 800 lumens of LED light which only requires 8-12 watts.
